CYQCI PhD Student Represents the Project at the 42nd Athens Marathon

CYQCI PhD student Andreas Siakolas represented the project at the 42nd Athens Marathon, held on 9 November 2025.

Running in a CYQCI t-shirt, Andreas completed the historic race and crossed the finish line at the Kallimarmaro Stadium, the iconic venue of the first modern Olympic Games.

Andreas’s participation exemplifies the perseverance, discipline, and team spirit that underpin both high-level research and athletic achievement. His commitment to excellence, whether in the laboratory or on the marathon course, reflects the broader values of the CYQCI project and its researchers.

We warmly congratulate Andreas on this impressive accomplishment and thank him for proudly representing CYQCI and the Cyprus research community on the international stage.
